College of Family Medicine Pakistan is a national body representative of family physicians in Pakistan. It is a member of WONCA and accredited for CME by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC). The College has been conducting various courses for the family physicians for the past few decades.
Keeping in view the fast increasing incidence of diabetes mellitus in Pakistan, we have decided to educate our family physicians/GPs on optimal management of diabetes mellitus at the primary care level.
College of family medicine Pakistan has launched a diabetes course in April 2016. This is a 6 months certificate course and accredited for CME hours by PMDC.
The objective of the course is to educate family physicians to manage patients with diabetes adequately and appropriately and to upgrade their knowledge of diabetic management as per the international guidelines.
